2nd Class visited Junior Infants class last Friday for Golden Time. They enjoyed a loop game in maths and used dice to make odd and even numbers. They also painted great Halloween pictures inspired by Dracula!

As part of their trip on the driverless bus, 4th 5th and 6th class were asked to take part in an art competition titled, “How will children travel to school in the future?”. 5th and 6th class were invited along to Trinity College for Physiology Friday last Friday as part of the Trinity Access Programme. Here they had the opportunity to learn interesting facts about our bodies, investigate the strength in their hands, and see the effect exercise has on our breathing!
Senior Infant Girls are so excited to have Alison visit our class to deliver the ‘Routes of Empathy’ course. Baby Rory will be visiting our class along with his mother Claire over this school year. Today was their first day to meet baby Rory and there was great excitement.
3rd 4th and 5th went to Liberty Hall today to see author Andy Griffiths talk about his mew book 104 Treehouse.
Junior Infants have been learning all about 3D Shapes
2nd class are still enjoying basketball with Hugh. They worked in groups in maths to find number sentences showing that adding is the opposite of take away. They are also very proud of their Autumn Tree display!
