School Meals

Dear Parent/ Guardians,
We are absolutely delighted you have the children from Junior Infants back in school and we are excited to welcome back our senior girls and teaching staff this coming Monday.
I am happy that all our efforts are in line with Department of Education Guidelines, all staff members are taking every precaution to keep our school safe.
A couple of housekeeping issues
Return to School Form
All children are required to fill out a return to school form. You will find this on Aladdin Connect.
Starting Times
Children from Junior Infants to 2nd Class will begin at 8.50a.m.
Children from 3rd to 6th will start at 9.10a.m.
Aladdin Connect
All school communication will now come through Aladdin Connect. Everyone should have a received a text message inviting you to download Aladdin Connect. This is the only form of communication the school will be using i.e. we are phasing out text a parent.
Uniform
Looking forward to seeing all our girls and boys in full uniform on Monday and every day after. It is a pleasure to see the children in line or in the classroom happily working in full uniform. Our new tracksuit and crest look so smart and create a sense of identity and belonging. Children must be in school uniform every day. Grant’s in Manor Street are open from 10.30pm until 3pm.
School Lunches and Healthy Eating Policy
School lunches will be here for all the children as usual. If you are sending in a lunch with your child, please ensure that it is healthy and no popcorn, sugary drinks, biscuits, chocolate anything allowed.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day
The school will close for St. Patrick’s Day and will re – open Thursday the 18th of March. We have plenty of fun activities planned to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. In light of Covid, and children returning to school, there will be no dress up this year.
Children just have to present themselves at the scheduled time on Monday, no bag necessary.
